German Jordanian University - 18 October 2026

About the Meeting

As part of the GJU TECH Summit, the German Jordanian University is proud to host the First Annual Binational University Meeting, bringing together the leadership of DAAD-funded binational universities for exchange, coordination, and shared planning in Jordan.

Following the DAAD TNB Conference in Berlin (April 2026), this meeting establishes a recurring forum for the leadership of the binational universities to build lasting frameworks for collaboration. Together, participants will set up shared contact points and thematic working groups and discuss joint advocacy.

Running in parallel, a BiNa Researcher Networking Meeting invites researchers from the participating universities to connect, present their fields of expertise, and explore concrete opportunities for joint projects.

The day continues with campus tours, cultural visits across Amman, and an evening networking event on the Jabal Amman Campus.
